Room 105
END OF LIFE ISSUES
Led by Jerry Henson
It is said that two things are inevitable: death and taxes. We talk about taxes a lot, but not so much about the other one. In this class we, as a people of faith, will discuss—in a religious context--some of the practical aspects of death and the last years of our lives. Included will be health issues and care options, finances and estate planning, legal concerns, emotional aspects of aging and dying, how to relate to one’s adult children and how to relate to one’s aging or dying parent(s). Finally, we will spend some time on the planning of a memorial service. We will call on several specialists to lead us on the various topics.
