Outreach

Northridge gives 23% of its budget to missions. We support 24 denominational and ecumenical agencies and programs locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The Mission Committee selects agencies and projects for both funds and volunteer efforts. We also help fund and organize youth and adult mission trips. Our “Two Pencils” Christmas project provides members with another opportunity for mission involvement.

One Great Hour of Sharing

Since 1949, Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians in One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) to share God’s love with people experiencing need. Our gifts support ministries of disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development. This year, Northridge will collect the OGHS offering on three consecutive Sundays: April 10, Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.

Children will be given fish banks in church school to be returned on Easter Sunday.
