Youth Fellowship

In addition to our Sunday morning church school program, we offer Northridge youth the following opportunities for growth and fellowship:

Youth Fellowship,  7th – 12th Grades

Our youth group welcomes everyone from 7th through 12th grades.
We meet Sundays downstairs in the Youth Suite from 5:00-6:30 pm during the school year. Once a month we have dinner following fellowship.
Youth fellowship consists of several different activities including service projects, field trips, recreation, and exploring spirituality.
In 2010 we will be attending Presbyterian conferences and camps such as Youthquake, SHYC (Senior High Youth Connection), and Mo Ranch.
Every summer the youth group goes on a weeklong mission trip. In June, 2010, thirty-nine youth will be going to Belize to serve in a local community.
Contact Youth Director, Melanie Ogé, for an up-to-date calendar of youth activities and events.

8th Grade Confirmation Class

This program, held each spring, helps 8th graders prepare to make a decision about whether or not to profess their faith and become individual members of Northridge. Using the Presbyterian curriculum “Professing Our Faith,” youth consider what they believe about God and the church. Adult church members, selected and trained by the Director of Christian Education, mentor each member of the confirmation class.
